Q. What is my child expected to learn?
A. Visit www.corestandards.org for both ELA and Math
 
Q. What other academic programs are available for my child?
A. Science, Social Studies, Physical Education and Music for grades 3-6
 
Q. Who do I contact if my child needs help?
A. Contact your child's teacher. You may also request meetings with anyone who is involved in your child's education; Reading lab specialist, case manager (if your child is on an IEP), or administration.
 
Q. What parent meetings are available for me to attend?
A. School Site Council (SSC) meetings are held 4 times per year, Reading Lab/Title 1 Meeting, English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC), Back to School Night, Open House, and Parent Conferences
 
Q. What enrichment programs or clubs are available at Webster?
A. ASB, GATE, MESA, art, Red Ribbon Week, Read Across America Week, Literature Week, Peach Blossom, & sports for grades 5 & 6. 
 
Q. How do I get involved in school activities?
A. Attend WPTC (Webster Parent/Teacher Club) meetings
 
Q. What is Title I funding and how is it used at Webster?
A. Title I is a federally funded program that helps disadvantaged students meet state academic content and performance standards. At Webster, we use the funding to support our Reading Lab.
