Pick up and drop off
In order to get our students safely on and off campus here are a few reminders:
Traffic will get backed up both in the morning and afternoon. Be patient and drive slow around campus at all times. Here are recommended drop off areas to space everyone out. It helps to go in a clockwise rotation around campus if entering the main gate. (yes the line will be long, but it goes fast).
Preschool/TK/Kinder: park outside of gate and walk in through the middle gate between the drop off/pick up area and bus zone (you may not leave your car unattended in the loading zone to walk your child up to their classroom).
1st-3rd grades: You may pull into the main drive and pull all the way forward before letting your child or children out of the car. It's helpful to have all their belongings ready to go so they can exit quickly and safely on the right side of your vehicle. Please do not get out of your vehicle to help keep the traffic flowing.
4th- 6th grade students: You may use the west walk-in entrance on Ruth and Waverly or the back gate. These areas have less supervision so if you prefer to enter the main gate that is also an option. If you are interested in being a parent volunteer cross guard please email me. The times are 7:45- 8 am and 2:30-2:50 pm daily (Wednesdays are 1:10-1:30).
